The kindest, gentle, loving, handsome,
and available man on the planet,
is Jesus Christ.
Everyone is a sinner, everybody does things that are wrong. According to the Bible in
Romans 3:23, all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.
This means because of our sin condition, we are separated from God. This was because of
the poor choice that Adam and Eve made at the beginning of time.
Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death.
Because of our sin, every person will die. We all have a terminal illness. But, there is
good news, Romans 5:8 says that God demonstrated his Love to us, in
that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. We don't have to be good for
God to love us, he loves us regardless of our condition or sin. That is why He sent His
only Son to die for our sin, in our place. For us to be accepted by God,
all we have to do is accept His Son. Doing good things, going to church, giving to the
poor, being a "good" person won't make God accept us. Only receiving Jesus
Christ into our hearts and making Him Lord of our lives will gain us acceptance by God. If
we reject His Son, He will reject us.
Romans 10:9-10 says that if we will confess with
the mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in the heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
then we will be saved. For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness, and with the
mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:13 says for whoever calls upon the
name of the Lord will be saved. That is God's promise. If we are truly sorry for
our sin, turn away from our sin and accept Jesus Christ, and start living for Him, God's
Holy Spirit will come into our lives forever, and we will spend eternity with Him when we
die.
You know you are going to Heaven if you've accepted Jesus Christ,
follow in baptism and live for Him.
